Faculty Spotlight

With a B.S. in Business Administration from Appalachian State University and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell, Sam approaches institutional communication and strategy with a sound theological framework. His roles span many disciplines, including youth ministry, small business management, advancement, team leadership, among others. He focuses his vocational passion on supporting institutions that promote flourishing for youth through education and discipleship.

Outside of his time at Heritage, Sam can be found hanging out with his wife and their friends. With them he plays board games, enjoys good food from all over the world, explores creation, and discusses theology. On his own, Sam finds joy reading fictional texts like the Wingfeather series, and developing the lore of his own fictional world.
