Salome Palmer founded Heritage as a summer program for students to encounter an education that encompassed not only their heads, but also their heart and hands. This program has grown over four years as students from across the country, and now the world, have been transformed by discipleship that orients them towards loving what is beautiful, good, and true, and imagining a hope-filled future for not only themselves, but their families, churches, and communities.

From this seed grew the initial concept of Heritage Academy: a learning community centered on these same ideals.
