DEBORAH SULLIVAN

DIRECTOR OF HOSPITALITY & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Deborah Sullivan serves as Director of Student Life & Hospitality at Heritage Academy, where she brings together a passion for meaningful experiences, community formation, and creative programming. With a self-designed B.A. in Social Impact from Gordon College—combining Youth Ministry, Psychology, and Entrepreneurship—Deborah has always been drawn to work that shapes people and communities from the inside out.

Prior to joining Heritage, Deborah worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions Events and Strategic Partnerships where she hosted events to welcome prospective students and families. Her work also included building strategic partnerships with local organizations, churches, youth groups, and counselors. She also led recruitment at major summer festivals and camps through creative and relational outreach.

Now at Heritage, Deborah is excited to bring her experience in student programming and event management to intentionally welcome families and create a robust student culture.

Outside of work, Deborah finds rest and renewal in nature—walking in the woods, exploring the coastline, and being still in creation. She love to laugh, be creative, and spend quality time with friends. Her curiosity is often sparked by the perspectives of others, and she finds herself diving deep into new questions as she listens and learns alongside those around her. Lately, she’s been exploring what happens when we allow ourselves to sit in silence—and how that space can awaken creativity, imagination, and attentiveness in surprising ways.
